Avoid working alone! If there are two or more of you, you can help each other if something were to happen.
The minimum requirements on the occasions where are working alone:
1) Tell someone where you will be during the day
2) Mark on the map where you are, also mark the route, and give the map to your contact person.
3) Always carry cellphone with you or a communication radio.
4) Keep in regular contact with your contact person, at least every 3 hours.
5) Always have transport vehicle in the forest
6) Always park the vehicle so that you can quickly leave the area
7) Observe all other safety procedures carefully.
